Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) applies to all publicly traded companies in the United States as well as foreign companies that are either publicly traded in United States or do business in the United States. These companies complete yearly audits by hiring independent auditors to complete the SOX audits. Over the course of 2020, SecurEnds SaaS software helped multiple organizations shore up their Access Certification process to stay in compliance with Section 404 of SOX audits. We’ll like to share some of the challenges our customers were going through before they bought our product and how SecurEnds helped with their Access Certification .

Mid Sized Financial Institution: Failure to revoke user access in a timely fashion even after the employee/contractor was terminated. Many of our customers had disparate systems of records for employees and contractors. Securends CEM helped create a single central identity repository of employee, vendor, partners by automatically synchronizing users and identities across multiple applications such as Active Directory, HR applications, Oracle and SQL Server, e-mail base, LDAP sources. Events such as application changes, role changes or user departure acted as triggers to deprovision accounts and entitlement via a ticketing system.

SOD Policy Creation Widget

A Billion Dollar Chain: Worried about mentaining segregation of duties to prevent fraud. SecurEnds CEM allowed business users ability to build a robust library of policies of conflicting roles using an intuitive UI. Our wizard guides business users to create a policy utilizing the central identity repository and adding “AND/ OR” statements to build policies rules.
